Need to Get Frostie

It's been a while.

Last weekend I went frisbee golfing with Malcolm and Mandie. It was a perfect day for such an event with the perfect temperature and the sun shining. But other than that last weekend wasn't that great for me. I don't know, I just didn't feel like myself. My head was hurting and thinking was hard. Even attempts to organize plans with my friends seemed like a mundane and daunting task. I felt like I was annoying and whiny. Who can tolerate that?

AND I MISSED FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!

I feel like I betrayed my hobby. I was so flustered from work and was excited to go out with my friends that I completely forgot that FCBD was Saturday. I'm a complete idiot. I swear.

However, Mike just told me that Wendy's is giving away free Frosties all weekend. I couldn't believe it so I went to their website to confirm it. Way I see it, because that finger in the chili scandal that ended up being a complete hoax made by a stupid bitch hack who tried to get money for nothing cost Wendy's millions of dollars in lost business and customers, and wants to get them back. I applaud their efforts, and I hope it succeeds for them. And I hope that petty excuse of a woman rots in prison for eons.

Hmm. I'm not being too kind with the ladies lately.

Anyway, I may have missed Free Comic Book Day, but I'll be DAMNED if I'm gonna miss Free Frostie Weekend!

Runaway Pride

Ha!

By now you all heard about this one. The bride-to-be who was kidnapped days before her wedding, ended up in New Mexico, only to admit during questioning that she lied to everyone to cover up the fact that she ran away.

I found out about this during drill on Saturday. Eating in the chow hall, CNN was on the televisions and the headline on the bottom of the screen was:

MISSING BRIDE FOUND: COLD FEET

The table I was sitting at had a good laugh, because the story was just silly. But the thing is, CNN stayed on that topic and only that topic for the entire 45 minutes I was in the chow hall! I'm sorry, but isn't that a bit much? Isn't there more important things going on than the story of this idiotic whore? CNN even brought in experts and crap to talk about this absurd story.

Now a small part of me understands if she was afraid of commitment and wanted to get away. Marriage is a big step and some aren't ready for that. But to flat out lie about it, making up things to cover your own cowardice, is just pathetic. Stupid bitch.

Even more stupid is the guy who still wants to marry her. What a tool. Okay, sure he may love the sprinting slut, but love shouldn't be confused with reason. That brings about mistakes that will be regretted later. At least sign a pre-nup, dude.

AND WHAT'S WITH THAT GOD-AWFUL PICTURE?!? In every one of the pictures available, except the ones with a blanket over her head, she's got those hideous google eyes. I even called into a radio show, Out to Lunch on Live 105.7, to talk about it on air.

In other news, I finished yet another video project, this one dealing with my doppleganger. Props to Drew for the idea.

Swinging My Google

Yess!! Remember my efforts to allow my blog to appear when searched with a search engine? Well tonight I fiddled with Google and found that if you type SuperPatQuest or Super Pat Quest, my blog will appear in the search results!

Sure, it's no asshole painter, but it's better than nothing! I also like the description of my blog that's given on Globe of Blogs:

"The blog of a regular dork in Maryland. Viewer Discretion and Spell Check Advised."

I also added links to other blogs that I read to the right. I'm thinking of adding links to some websites I regularly visit as well.

Things are looking up for this site! Gotta love it.

I finally fixed the comments. Now you don't have to click twice to post a comment. Now it's a pop-up that appears instantly. I figured maybe that's why more people don't post comments on this bleeding thing.
