I bought a new phone this past week, mainly because I was sick of my old one. The old one, a Motorola T720, was showing it's age. The faceplate broke early on, and I was forced to buy one of those "substitute" faceplates. You know, the ones that fit the phone but aren't perfectly formed to it. The one I bought allowed dust and other crap to seep into the insides. In some attempt to make up for the sloppiness, I slapped on some Superman stickers. In time, those stickers accumulated their own dirt and started peeling away. The ringtones were monotheistic..monotonic..whatever and paled in comparison to the hip-hop tunes I was hearing in the store when someone's mom needed milk brought home. But the creme de la pot was the charger. From the get go, the phone charger was a feckin' bastard. The plug had to be inserted into the phone JUST the right way in order for it to charge. I can't tell you how many mornings I've woken up to find my phone uncharged from "charging" overnight. Usually I had to put a book on top of the damn thing, and I'm sure that wasn't good for the phone.
The new phone I purchased is polydiogstic..polymonisis...whatever so the ringtones sound great. I've already obtained a couple of neat ones. The charger is the type that firmly inserts itself into the phone, so no worries about that. Also, it has one of those cameras on it. Now, I know it's just a gimmick and I can't think of a good reason to have one, but I got it. Which means I can't take my phone down to the boats at Ft. Belvior. Je suis espion. However, it will come in handy at parties. Not that I go to much.
Still looking for that Scatman John ringtone.
The video class is going swell. Next week I'll be able to grab a camera of my own to do my own filming outside of class. Drew volunteered himself to be my first victim. I have the storyboards made up and I'm ready to go. The thing about making storyboards is that it's very similar to making comics, which I do occasionally anyway. Let the others struggle.
The sequel to the X-Men cartoon I linked to last week is already released, and is really really funny. Probably because it's so true. It's dedicated to the one X-Men character worth resurrecting, but will probably stay dead. Dark Pheonix Rising.
Finally, my new Batman Beyond shirt should arrive tomorrow. Mike wants my old one, but I can't imagine why.
Hay who's that Green Guy Paqucik... :-) i wana see his Face
ReplyDeleteanyway nice man.
It's actually a remake of a previous work. The old one had Drew in the background but I didn't have a good pic to use of him, so you, Zahir, were the lucky bastard.
